In order to win the Northern Trust Open, Fred Couples is the dark horse. Fred’s third place finish in 2009 can be attributed to his superior ball striking in the tournament as he plays well at Riviera. On Sunday, look for Couples to on the leader board.

For this year’s Phoenix Open, the entries read like a who’s who of the elite PGA tour golfers. Even though Phil Mickelson has always enjoyed this event, Tiger Woods hasn’t played this event for several years.
